I did not have access to any spray paint so I decided on using a mixture of Sharpie markers and highlighters and I think it came out pretty good. I haven’t doodled my name since I was in high school so drawing my name intricately and coloring it in felt very nostalgic. It brought back memories of sitting in a hot classroom at Lakewood High School waiting impatiently for Chemistry class to be over so I could go to lunch with my friends. I really didn’t expect such a simple assignment to bring up memories from so long ago. It’s a strange feeling to me to realize that it’s been six years since I graduated high school. In some ways it feels like it hasn’t been that long ago and things haven’t changed so much and then in other ways it feels like an eternity ago and that everything is different now.
